Use the unified search hub on the homepage to filter by locality, metro station, property type (Private Room, Flat, or PG), budget range, and immediate move-in availability. You can also toggle the “Verified Only” parameter to inspect listings physically verified by our team.

Click the “Post Property” button in the upper navigation header. Complete the 3-step listing flow by specifying bedroom configuration, monthly rent, deposit multiplier, amenities (Wi-Fi, AC, Power Backup), and uploading clear daytime photos. Once uploaded, your listing is queued for quality control review and moderation before going live.

Log into your Basero account, open the user profile dropdown in the top right corner, and select “Manage Listings”. From there, click “Edit Details” on any active property to modify rental rates, notice periods, upload refreshed images, or mark a unit as occupied.

Open our Support page and choose “Suspicious listing” under the topic picker. Select the reason for reporting — such as incorrect photographs, suspicious advance payment demands, or unresponsive contacts. Our Trust & Safety unit reviews every report and starts an investigation within 12 working hours.

No. Basero functions as an authentic peer-to-peer rental marketplace. We do NOT hold security deposits in escrow, insure them, or process any deposit transfer on behalf of landlords. All lease deposits must be executed directly between tenant and landlord, accompanied by a standardized written lease agreement.

Always schedule an in-person physical walkthrough before exchanging any money. Verify that the keyholder has authentic ownership documentation or an authorized power of attorney, test water pressure and electrical fixtures, inspect security locks, and read the lock-in and notice period clauses carefully.
